Kim & Adam

Kim and Adam were wed on Valentine's Day in a beautiful ceremony at Temple Israel of Lawrence. These are some of the favorites I picked while going through our editing stations here at the studio. The first few pictures to capture my attention were the detail shots of the bouquet. I really enjoyed to see them being held in place with Kim in silhouette on the go, borrowing elements of candid photojournalism with a still life feel. Her gown was gorgeous boasting a intricate motif across the strapless top. When the session moved outside Kim wore her grandmother's fur wrap to keep her warm. Take a look at some of these shots and few more that drew me in. Thanks for reading and don't forget to comment!

Anne & Jeff

Anne and Jeff were wed and held their reception at the Seasons in Washington Township, NJ. Like many brides Anne got ready in her home where we caught some great candid photos. However everyone knows that the shoot picks up only when the Bride is paired with her Groom. In this case, the pilot with his "co-pilot" as Jeff is a career aviator... bringing a new meaning to the expression "swept her off her feet". Some of my favorite shots are from the lit landscaped grounds at Seasons. The newly renovated venue had a lot of interesting settings to create, paired with the romance Anne and Jeff shared these shots evoke their emotions. Once the reception got going a special surprise occurred during the first dance, a light snow fall took place right there on the dance floor! Take a look at some of the shots from the day and if your new, we invite you to leave a comment.

Helen & Anthony

Helen and Anthony were wed and held their reception at the Chateau Briand. A lot of my favorites shots from their special day have two things in common, beautiful aesthetic and terrific expressions of romance. The combination of the patterns found in the architecture paired with creative lighting, beautifully imagery rich with texture and layers. Helen and Anthony were comfortable in front of the lens and most importantly looked great! The bride paired her gown with a warm wrap for the outside portion of the shoot which added a flare to the chemistry of the photos. Take a look at the selection of my favorites and in a new as always don't forget to comment!

Ali & Jonathan

Ali and Jonathan were wed and celebrated their union at Temple Sinai.
My favorite photos are great examples of how candids paired with details tell the story of a day.
Ali and Jonathan had a great chemistry in front of the camera and were great to work with.
Nothing makes for a better subject than a calm bride and groom that are about having fun.
From the getting ready shots through to the reception the photos from this day are great!
Have a look and don't forget to comment.

Karen & Sean

Karen and Sean were wed and held a beautiful reception at the Woodlands. The time Karen spent with her photographer Chris beforehand produced lovely shots utilizing different lighting situations to accent elegant features and create artistic memories of our bride in thought before the big moment. When paired together, Sean and Karen had a chemistry that could be described as calm and cool. When the day shifted into the party the spirit shifted as well and everyone partied under fun, vibrant dance floor lighting. Take a look at some shots from the day na don't forget to comment!

Caren & Adam

Caren and Adam were wed and held their reception at Water's Edge. Working with photographer Chris, their special day has beautiful pictures that capture the romance in front of a Manhattan backdrop. While there are lots of fun party shots I really enjoyed the intimate moments because they are full of the characteristics that have become second nature for two people in love. It is always interesting to see how a couple embraces one another, who closes their eyes, do they hold with arms around the neck or waist? Idiosyncrasies like these are simple reminders of how two people become one.

Samantha & Alan

Samantha and Alan were wed and held their reception at the Manhattan Penthouse. Samantha wore a gorgeous strapless gown with a beautiful motif as an accent. I have to say that the gown held up so well throughout the day as the bride and groom ventured around the busiest city in the world. The landscape is always so important when crafting these memories with our brides and grooms and you just cannot go wrong with Manhattan. Their photographer Chris hit all kinds of locations with all kinds of style. From candid shots inside storefronts, portraits on rooftops and my favorite shot, the silhouetted sunset. Samantha and Alan were a blast to work with and had impeccable style and taste with their awesome reception. Take a look at some shots and don't forget to comment!
